Played a few freerolls in order to get a bankroll on the go. I entered one with 4200 ish other entrants and managed 50th for $1.70, gotta start somewhere i guess. Not sure whether too use that on micro cash and try grind it up or whether to invest it in a tourney and hope i make the money. Will see how it goes this week. Also, 100th post :)

I haven't updated this blog in a long time now, mainly due to the fact that i haven't been playing poker at all, i've been in Tenerife working in bars. However i am back home now, not sure how long for but i intend on making a roll and giving it a realy good go. I miss playing so much so i'm going to make some rules to follow in order to keep my roll.

Played more on my Dad's account for him, and have so far made over $100. Played some more cash over doubling the buy in on two occasions. Also played a 10 player $10 SnG for him which i won for a $40 profit. I seem to play alot better with his money as i don't lose the head when i get sucked out on etc, i just take it and play on, because i don't wish to lose his money as a result of my recklessness. It's weird not tilting for once!

Busted off the $50 that i built it up to within a day. From the start of the day i didn't really feel comfortable playing, and i dunno why i kept on, maybe boredom. However my dad has an account on PKR and said for me to have a go on there for him and see if i can make some money, so i did. Started on a 15c/25c with around $35 and left the table with about $84 i think so not a bad bit of poker. One notable hand was when i picked up 44, i raised it up, and 3 callers. Flop came 894 with 2 spades, one guy raised before me, i re-raised, and 2 called. Turn was a 10, one of the ones i didn't want to see tbh. Guy checked, i raised, and got re-raised by about $2 because someone pushed all-in for there last amount, the other guy called, as did i. River 8 giving me the boat, guy pushed and i called. One had JQ and another had a missed nut flush draw. Thank you river, although i don't feel sorry for the other guy because whats he doing calling a re-raise on the flop with a gutshot with 2 others in the hand. gg

Got £20 from the new littlewoods site, lost that in a $80 or so pot when a fish called my $4 raise pre and $6 c-bet, when i have AA, and he has 73o, hits a 3 on the flop, i check the turn to get more action on riv, he hit another 3...Whats worse is he hit and run!

Just released £10 Bonus from Partypoker, that went quickly too, when i call-raised all-in pre with jj, he then called my all in with A8s and hits his ace of course. I've then deposited £25 which i'm trying to spin up. I did double it earlier, but then made a bad timed bluff and went back to starting stack. The table is so loose and fishy, so i'm just trying to sit back abit, which isn't how i like to normally play, but gotta do whatever makes the most money i guess.

edit: Got it to £65, then got another £10 bonus. I removed £40, giving me at least £15 proff. I sat at the table with the rest, lost it all when i raised UTG with QQ, BB who was fukin awful at poker might i add re-raised all in, i called he has AK, low board until the king on the river. That was his only play that i'm not that annoyed about, the others, well...just plain disgusting.

Went to chester with Ed to see few mates on Wednesday, we went out and got lashed that night, which was pretty good fun, and on the Thursday night we went to Rileys and played a small tourney, i come fucking 4th when Bluescousyfishywishy knocked me out on the final tarb, i was shortstacked and pushed on the button with AKo, and it folded to him, and he just looked at me, smiled and said soz mate i gotta call, and turned AQ, then went "ohhh", lol...however that f00kin queen came for him on the turn of course lol, and that was me. Ed went on to win it.

We also did some pool betting whilst we were there, and i played quite good at the start and was up for a bit, then managed to play awful and lose about 20 bananas, oh well, all good fun lol.

Sat at one table of 50/1 tonight with £25, got it up to £94 before leaving, removed £69 and have now sat at another table trying to spin that up. Hoping i do the same tbh and get a super hot run of cards =)

Apart from that, haven't really played. Going Chester on Wednesday to see a mate, and we're all going out on the lash, and think we're gonna go play some pokes on Thurs. Should be a good laugh, and hopefully, a profitable one ;)

Managed to bust off that money i left in my account to play with. It was when me and one other were all in on the flop when i had a set of tens and he had an open ended straight draw and hit on river.

Today entered a freeroll with 2000 people in on Party poker, came 89Th for $10. Last hand was when i had QQ and i didn't have many chips at all, so pushed and got called by J10o and K7, board came 67389, and that was that.

Put that $10 all on a 10c/25c table and busted fairly early when i pushed on a 236 flop with 88 and got insta called with KK...:/ oh well...not a lot i could do there.

I've been playing on Party poker since last night, and really do like it, it's full of fish and i enjoy playing on there, so looking to create my main roll on there next =)

I didn't listen to myself and take a break lol. Instead, i created an account on Partypoker (GD4S_). I managed to spin £25 upto £121. I was managing to win small pots here and there when the table was full, then everyone left just me and this other guy HU. I took alot off of him, he left, another joined, and i cleared him out. Last hand, i made quads on the river which in turn gave him a full house, i made a suspicious overbet which put him all-in, he insta called and insta mucked lol.

I'm now currently playing on another table, and have already turned £25 upto £60, what a great start to Partypoker!

Yeah, after so many bad beats recently, i kinda went crazy, and of course, my tilts are of a vertical sort! Gonna take another break and try and re-start a roll, it's not so bad, because my $300 roll was all profit i made, although i don't like losing it!

I'm pretty fed up of the fish out there, makes you feel like going on a wild rampage lol. But i guess, when the tables aren't screwing you over, your glad they are there because their the one's who'll pay you off. So i guess I'm really more annoyed at the online tab's paying these guys off =)

Just one of them shit days today, been unlucky so many times, its unreal. Done a load of SnG's, but everytime have done awful, fish calling with shit and getting lucky. So annoying.
I'm down about $40 atm, but am gonna take a break, and try recover the loss slowly tomorrow, not now whilst im tilted.

Not a great day today. I started off well, winning the first couple sng's i played, but i then had a massive stroke of bad luck, i was always getting unlucky. Like when i push with QQ when its down to HU in one sng, and get called with Q7 only for him to hit a straight etc etc. My roll went down to $130 ish, and i was a bit fed up of sng's, so i sat at 3 tables of 10c/25c and managed to bring the roll back upto around $170.

I should realy stop going on cash as it could seriously damage my slow grinding roll at some stage, but for now it's ok. I may do a cash table here and there from now on, but i still mainly want to focus on $5 sngs for now.

On a non-poker front, i'm out of the Army now, and need a job lol. So unless i become a millionaire within the next month =) it's job hunt time!

Littlewoods tourney didn't go to plan, came a lame 43rd out of 204 after my QQ lost to AK when the king came on the river, sucks. But not too worry, didn't cost me anything.

After this i played another $5 SnG which i won, and decided to play some small cash with Hellboy on 10c/25c level. I know i said i wasn't gonna play cash but i didn't see the harm, and decided to just do it for a little while. Managed to leave the cash table with a total roll of $150, up from $112 earlier. Not a bad profit again today. Looking forward to what tomorrow brings!

I have been playing $5 SnG's all day today, and had a mixed result, winning some, 2nd placing some and missing on the money a few times too, i was playing two 6 seater sng's when i thought i'd try a $5 45 seater, i managed to take that down for a nice $85, bringing the total roll upto $162 since yesterday. I'm now going to withdraw the $50 i first deposited and play with the profit, and try and make the best of it, doing nothing but $5 sngs for the meantime.

I feel my game has realy improved recently, and i hope this continues, i'm going to play a few more tonight, ive also got the £7k GTD i qualified for yesterday on littlewoods, and im hoping for a result in that too =)

Have had various swings recently, playing all different levels of cash, even had a small live game, which mainly involved cash PLO, most went too bed after a few hours, but me and Bluescouse stayed up for hours and hours playing HU lol, he eventually ended up against me that night, but the morning after, i spun my £10 buy-in up to around £45 in a small game, so got my own back =)

Recently deposited $50 into Full-tilt, I'm only going to play $5 Sng's, Ive played a few tonight, a total of 7, under the alias 'tomkendal', and i had a total of three 2nds, two 1sts, and two no cashes, for a total of $32 profit this evening.

Ive also just got a place in the Lucky £7k using my mpps in a satelite, 99 entries and top 6 get places.

So not a bad start tonight, hope this performance continues.

I'm now in the process of just grinding, i've got like £20 in Littlewoods poker, and intent to try and play a load of stt's, sattelites and low stakes to bring my roll up. Tonight was the first proper night of poker I've had in a long time, I've deposited very little amounts here and there of late, however, each session has not had my full attention and i just generally couldn't be arsed to play.

Tonight i thought I'd give it a good go on Littlewoods, like the olden days, depositing £25, and sitting on either a 50p/£1 or 25p/50p table. All the 50p/£1 were full, so i opted for the 25p/50p. I started off slowly, just grinding my way up and up, with some very good steady poker, barely bluffing, and making some good reads. To be quite honest, the table was very soft, and often had fish coming on min buying in and busting, was great :D

I eventually grinded up to around £80 before getting 66, i just call as there was 2 callers before me. Flop is 1067 two spades. One bets £1.50, one caller after, i make it £5.50, they both call.

Turn is 3 of spades, now i was almost 100% sure someone hit the flush here. They both checked, but i bet £10, as one guy had only £8.50 left, but they other guy i was worried about as he still had about £90 behind him. The guy with £8.50 folds, 2ND guy calls v fast.

River is 3h, to my relief. I knew i was ahead now, however wasn't sure of the correct amount to bet in order to get a call, or maybe a raise. I bet £17.50 and got a call. He mucked j10s. Thank god for the river eh. This put me up to £125. The hand after i lost around £17 where i missed an OESD and flush draw and tried to bluff on river...but not too worry, still a nice little profit for the night.

I'll hopefully be playing a bit more often from now on, but only at this level, can't be doing with losing too much money right now...Need to save my pennies =)

I busted my $118 roll in one night, and took a long rest after that. Ive only played two or three times since then, first session not winning or losing, 2nd i busted £100, and i managed to win £82 of it back in the 3rd. Highly uneventful tbh. Too busy at work to play in the week at the moment, as it's full on training for Afghanistan in may. But i'll try and play when i have time soon. I'm not going to be playing below 50p/£1 most likely.

I managed to get my roll upto $65, before blowing a majority of it in a night of rebuy after rebuy when a real bad beat sent me on tilt somewhat, i left that night with what i started with, $10. The next night i thought i'd give a $4.40 tourney a go, and from the start i played awesome, i waited for the hands, played them all correct, and made some huge folds. The best fold i did was when i get given Q8o on the button, its quite deep into the tourney right now, blinds are like 1k/2k i think, about 23 peeps left with me being the chip leader at around 36k. I raise it up after it folds to me, i make it 5.5k, sb folds, BB just calls, flop is 910a, BB checks, i bet the same 5.5k, BB calls again, turn is a J, the BB then check raises me all-in, its another 17k for me to call, over half my chips right now, and ive got the 2nd nuts. I thought and thought for agesss, before folding...it just made sense that he had KQ. I was just wondering whether it was a good fold or not, and then he showed KQ, i was over the moon. Made my game play so much better, i also folded A7 on a A7K flop, the guy had KK, i put him on AK tbh, but what does it matter =).

I was playing some brilliant poker. Comes down to the final table, then my internet decides to fuck me off for a good 20 mins, and with blinds that big, my stack soon depleted. I eventually managed to get back on, and was sitting with around 39k, and no longer chip lead. I then made a bad move when i thought the guy was bluffing, which cost me 19k. By now everybody is just stealing blinds, and they pretty much couldn't handle my aggression, and i was stealing left right and center. Then came my final move, i get given A9h in the SB, one raises to like 4750 before me, i insta push all-in, BB folds, the guy thinks for ages and ages, and calls with J10h, and lucks a fuckin 10, and that was me out, 7th place for a lame $25. Maybe a bad move, but i figured he was stealing tbh, and most were trying it on.

I then decided to gamble and put $25 on a 25c/50c table, i went up and down for a good few hours, upto $80, then down to $15 etc. I cashed out on $85 which now is my current roll. I have to say though i did get very lucky twice. The first time was aipf JJ vs AA and i hit the jack. The other time was on a nothing flop, i check raised a guy on the flop, where i thought he was bluffing, he wasn't lol, he flopped JJJ, i had A10o, and because i raised so much, when he pushed all-in, it was only another $1.70 to call, so i obv did. Turn is a K, river a Q. LOOOL!!..oops..bad by me, but about time i hit runner runner. I'll most likely be playing again tonight on 25c/50c, because it isn't quite as fishy as 5c/10c and ur raises actually do count for something lol.

Crazy Nights, Roll Started!

Well since my last post, i haven't done anything of great interest, just get drunk down the pub with Ed and the lads. The worst night was only meant to be a night of us gambling on pool games and just haveing a few drinks, but i ended up alot more than tipsy. Me and Ed have a betting system on our pool, like £16 per frame (have played upto £64 a fram before now) and bonuses all the way through, so plants, doubles, 4 balls in a row etc all add up, and depending how much each frame is, the bonuses are more or less.
So we were betting away as per, and thats about as much as i could remember. I got told alot of what i did, it involved getting back to eds house, me running out the car into his back garden, where he has a massive bank, i apparently stacked it down there and was crawling around on the floor like an idiot before Ed and TJ (Eds bro) came and helped me back up. We made it too the house, but it wasn't long before i was back outside running around the whole area, with no shoes on, landing on peoples gardens and all sorts. Tj drove after me (as he wasn't drinking) and couldnt find me. I somehow ended back at the house, where ed locked me in, i was running around the house looking for the keys (god knows why) before passing out on the sofa. It' safe to say, the night after way similar lol. But it's all good fun =)

On the poker side, i deposited $10 into my pokerstars account last night, and sat at two 5c/10c with $5 on each. I finished the night with a total roll of $55. I played a quick session today where i was down $10 at one point, but i finished $10 up, brining the roll to $65. I had a nice hand today where i was worried on the flop, but the turn comforted me. I get given 55 on the button, i raise it to 30c, BB calls, flop it 756, BB checks, i bet 45c, and get re-raised, i re-re raise and he insta pushes. Now there was 2 spades on the flop so im thinking he may have the flush draw, but also if he's actually flopped the nut straight. I thought and thought, and decided more likely the flush draw and called hoping he wouldn't hit, he turned over 67 thank f00k, and the turn was a 5 too finish him off lol. I will most likely do some more grinding tonight if i'm not too tired. GL

I'm now going to take a break from internet poker for a few weeks maybe. Going to be reading a few books to keep up the right frame of mind about the game, and then i'll get back into it fresh, and hopefully back playing good. I busted that small roll in Pokerstars i had, got it up to around $27 on low stakes tables, but then i just got bored and started to call lesser hands. I then deposited $50 into Full tilt after i said i wouldn't, i lost that fairly quickly. I think all these losses recently are actually down to me being a impateint cunt lol. I need to be doing something all the time. Saying that, in tournaments, im not so bad, i can wait for the hands and play them well, but when i play cash, i just seem to want to double up realy fast, and win realy fast, and i think this might be the main reason i'm losing at the moment. I need to find something to pre-occupy me whilst i play, so that i'm not a calling station lol. I'm going to deposit $50 into one site tonight, and i'm going to grind it, playing the correct stakes, and alot of tourneys i think. Let's see how long this lasts.

Played a $4.40 180 man SnG just now, i was chip lead for a large majority towards the end of the tourney, by a long long way, over double anyone else, then this fish joined my table, and would call anything, with any hand, wtf he was still doing in the tourney this late on i was thinking, he called down my bets when i was flush drawing, with Ace high, no draws, no nothing, the fkin cock. Somehow he just lucked out every time, did my head in. Anyway, because of that retard i managed a lame 13Th position for a measly $8.64. I was also simultaneously playing a triple shootout to the sunday million, and i messed up on that to come 19th out of 216 and not to get anything lol. What a waste of a couple hours.

Lost £25 on Littlewoods last night, when some guy called an all-in on the turn with a flush draw and managed to hit, vs my AA, wat a cock lol, was like a £75 pot i think. Cant realy remember, i just slammed shut the laptop and went to sleep. I've just deposited a small $10 in pokerstars(gay) which im gonna just use to practise and hopefully come off tilt for a while. Gonna play some low limit and some small SnG's most probs. Don't know how long it will be before im back playing $1/2 and $2.50/5. Not long though i hope, most probs will be when i feel like im fully off tilt and playing well again. I'm also gonna read Dan Harringtons second book which i've just bought, i enjoyed his first one, and i recommend it to anyone wanting to learn about poker.

Also it's my b'day on Friday which should be cool, gonna go to the casino and gabooool some and on saturday, hopefully going to Cardiff on the lash with fishscouse and the gang =) I'll post if anything mad happens. 99.9% chance of this btw...lol

Lost £100 playing $2.50/$5 yesterday, it was mainly tilted play that lost it for me, i was making such loose calls and found normal folds very hard to do. Ive lost a large majority of all the profit that ive made this month, which once stood at about $800. I realy need to find a way to stop tilting so easily after a few bad beats. I lost $120 rebuying on a $1/2 table, the last buy-in of $40 i spun upto $320 at one point, but then i bust it when sum guy lucked a full house on the turn against my flopped trips. I went a bit mad, so decided to gamble lol, i put $100 on a $2.50/$5 table, and left with $482. Not a bad proff for the night, i played better at the higher stakes table, and loved every second of it :D...lol. I withdrew the majority of the money from my betfair account, and left just £50 in there to gamble when i next want to play, until then..GL :D

Lost $100 tonight, $50 of which i had left in Full tilt, and another $50 which i deposited afterwards. The first was through not hitting anything whenever i'd raise, the 2nd amount, i managed to get it upto about $90 before i get given AK, i make it $8 in the cut off, BB re-raises to $21, i call, flop is Q6K, he bets $28, i make it like nearly all-in for me, he re-raises, and i obviously aint folding now that the majority of my money is in, he turns over 66 and nothing to help me on turn or river. Oh well, bad play by me, will play tommorow maybe.

EDIT: Lost $150 more, the first buy-in was when some cunt who had trips, beat my turned flush, by making a house, then 2nd was when i make flush on turn again, he makes trips on turn also, river makes him quads, fuckin joke, 3rd was tilted play!

not so good this morning, lost 2 buy-ins of £25 on a $1/2 table, got unlucky against the same guy twice, One hand was where i got given AA, one guy raises the button, i just call, BB moves all-in, button calls, i'm all-in then behind, with a shorter stack, BB shows JJ, button has KQo, KQ hits two pair on the river to take the whole pot, what a tit lol...and then the other main pot was where i had KQ, Q high flop, im all-in on the flop again and he was flush drawing, and obv hits on turn, not such a bad one, but still annoying lol. Oh well, not to be this morning i guess :)

I come back last night from the pub, and decided i wanted to play poker lol...I firstly deposited £30 and lost it with my second hand i think lol, i did same again, and lost that within 5 mins, and then i did 2 more deposits of £25 and lost the first one, and fell asleep at the table with the second one loool.

However when i woke up this morning, i thought i'd try and play that £25 that i had left, i sat at a $1/2 table with the buy in of $50. I was steady around this mark for a while, before winning a few small pots getting me upto around the $90 ish mark. I then got lucked out on a few times, back to $50. Then i make a big call with this fish one the table, i called with a pair of 6's on a queen high board, his betting was all wrong, and he was easy to read. He often liked to re-raise pre-flop with any two. It's safe to say that he paid me off. Up to around $100. I made a same sorta call with a pair of 7's when there was a J, K and an ace on the board, for a $114 pot. $214 ish. Again i won a few good pots against this guy before i won the big pot.
I get given Jd Jh in the button, it folds around to me, i make it $8, SB folds, BB makes it $24 (as he usually does after i raise the button) I over-raised it, because i thought theres more of a chance of this guy calling here, as it would look like a stupid bet, i make it $72, he flat calls. Flop comes [9c Th Qh] he checks, i bet $110, he re-raises to $151 and is now all-in, i call the $41, he turns over 5c 10c, turn and river are nothing cards, and i take down the $444 pot. Bringing my stack to $516. So within an hour, i turned $50 into over $500, which i figured was quite good, i played about 20 more hands before cashing out as it's safe to say, i need the money lool. I would of loved to of stayed because he kept re buying, but i didn't want to really risk it. So i won back last nights losses and also this weeks losses with some to spare. THANK GOD!

Bad session last night, i lost first few buy-in's fairly fast with some unlucky hands, on being where i flop 2 pair, and some guy has flush draw, and of course he hit's after the money is all-in on the flop, and everytime my money went in on the flop for a straight or flush draw, i of course missed everytime. I then managed to turn my third buy-in of £25 into £165 before losing a large majority whilst betting on draws that never came etc. Then came a £190 pot that i lost when i get given 66 in the button, i raise it upto £4, sb folds, bb makes it £9, i flat call. Flop comes down 6c 9h 2c. I make it £9, bb raises to £22, i re-raise to £45, he pushes all-in and i instant call, he holds KcQc, the turn is a club and the river doesnt pair the board, gayyyyyy lol.

My final buy-in was spun up to £85 ish before me busting it making some tilted calls, and some bad bets. Not the best of nights, and i shudda easily got out at £165, and i knew i was in for £75 at that point already and can't be doing with losing that money. Oh well, not sure when next session will be. Will find out in the week =)

I decided to take a break after such bad beats earlier on, watched phone booth on tv lol, bit of a nap, i then woke up around 01.30. I sat at the normal $0.50/$1 table with a buy-in of $40. I played the best i've played for a long time now, my reads on the fish were perfect almost everytime. I was also actually hitting my flushes, oesd's etc etc lol..which always helps!
I left the table with a stack of $233 for $193 profit. That's just about covered my losses for earlier on lol, thank f00k, because i think i almost broke my knuckle earlier from smacking shit outta the wall when that king came on the river lol. Time for some more me thinks! GL

Managed to make a total profit of $186 through the early hours today, have been playing on $0.50/$1, buying in for $40 each time. More than a days wages, and i'm going to see if i can manage to keep that up for a month or so, making more than a days wages each day for a month would be awesome, and would boost my confidence towards being a full time player in a few years (all going well). I played reasonably tight, and it was the sort of level where there were plenty of fish who couldnt make good laydowns and were often paying me off well. Last night i played at a £0.25/£0.50 table on Littlewoods with a starting stack of £20, i dropped down to like £11 after my AQ was beat with AK when an ace showed up on the turn, not a great loss, but certainly not good, i then added £5 to my stack. I managed to shift the stack upwards some to around the £27 ish mark before calling someones all-in with 1010 against there 77, that pushed me up towards the £45 ish point, i then sat around this mark for a little while, had a few small pots in my favour before deciding to leave after an hour or so at the table with a stack of £54 for 2 reasons: 1 - I need a boost of confidence, and so leaving a table up might be able to help. 2 - It was 3:15am and i had work at 7:30, partly the reason I'm so tired today i guess, anyway, i withdrew the £25, and have left £29 in the account for me to gamble tonight, and hopefully get a roll going again. I'm thinking about starting to keep more of a record of wins/losses for the month etc, thus helping me to keep my bank balance in a healthier state, because right now, it's looking a little diminished to say the least.

The poker table sent me insane, i actually felt physically sick. The hand was this: I get given AKc in late position, one guy had made it 75p pre, i re-raise to £2.25, he flat calls, flop is 7QK rainbow, i bet out another £2.25, he calls, turn is a 3, i check, hoping for him to bet, he does bet £2.50, i make it £6.66, he calls, river is a Q, i know he has it, he bets out and i had to call, was like £4 or summit more, he hold Q5o...FFS...how can u get round this SHIT!

I've finally come to terms that i'm addicted, im so so shit with money, i just re buy and re buy when I'm tilted and playing bad, upping the stakes all the time, I've got just over £100 left to last me a month, £40 will go on petrol tomorrow to get me back up north for work, the rest is needed for food..I'm thinking of getting a loan this week, not for gambling, but for general life needs! I got given 88 in earlyish position, i raise it up to £4, i have an aggressive look at the tab, one guy just flat calls me. Flop comes 467, i over bet the pot, thinking I'm ahead, he pushes all-in after thinking abit, he did this to me a few times before, i thought about it and then figured if he has an over pair, i might get lucky, any 5 or 8. I called for him to turn over QQ, nothing for me on turn or river, £95ish pot for him. I was thinking of re buying again, but decided against it just so i don't go chucking it away if i went tilted, it's nothing major to worry about though. Not sure when I'll play again now, sooner rather than later i think though.

Decided to play tonight for the first time in over a week, been real busy last week, had to go down south to do this course ready for Afghanistan in May, so had no time for poker, however tonight, i sat at the usual 50p/£1 on littlewoods with £25, left with £79 for another nice small profit, my hands were played well, the majority of the money was off just c-bets etc, not many showdowns, biggest pot was like £47 with me all in pre with my AA vs 1010, it actually held up for once lolz. Arghhh, annoying, i deposit $40, don't cash in a few SnG's, go down to about $18. I sit at a 25c/50c tab, get it upto $168, then spunk it off, mainly in a hand where i get AA, one raiser pre, he makes it $1.50, i make it $4.50, he flat calls, flop is queen high, he check calls my $4.50 C-bet, turn is nothng, i bet $7.50, he flat calls again, river is a 10, i lead out for $16.50 to make look like a stupid steal, he then pushes for another $38, it takes me ages to think, but i dno, think all sorts, but i just cant muck it, i call, to find the fish had 1010, lucky cunt!

I then tilted and blew the rest being aggresive lol, rebought for $40, got it to $127, spunked it, and again rebought now for another $40, got it currently at $82, but it will surely go. I realy shudda left when i got it too $168, but there was this fish on there that was paying out lol, maybe im too greedy, i dno, but i got unlucky, my poker play was perfect up unitl then, faultless, loved my play, ahh well, lets see if i can get this above $120, ill try force myself to cash out even for this evening...however this may proove difficult, gl

Played the $11 rebuy tourn, managed 56th out of 1314 peeps for a $127 prize, i shudda done so much better, but it wasn't to be, i was in the top ten chipstacks, when i get given a9d in middle position, i raise it up to 17.25k, blinds are at 3000/6000. I get 2 callers. Flop comes 7d3d5s, i make it 32k, i get re-raised behind me to 87.5k, the next guy pushes all-in for a total of 275k, covering my stack. I figure im good against trips or overpairs hoping to suckout and hit my diamond, but it wasn't to be, i called, so did the guy behind, one turns 88, the other has 33, the turn is a 6c, river 5c, ending it all for me. The lucky mofo wins a 475k pot, and gets chip lead by a long way. But oh well, a small proff.

What a bad start to this week, absolute rubbbish. I thought i'd deposit on sunday night, as i was bored, and as of late, have been making a small proff. But i decided to go down a few levels, what stupid mistake. I must of forgot how bad the play is there, such a joke.

I deposited a total of £40, i bought in for £10 at a time, and every time i get lucked out on by bad play, i mean, why do they get rewarded for being shit. So so annoying.

The one that annoyed me the most was this: I get given QJh, it folds to me on the button, i make it 3xbb, sb and bb both call, flop is 4h 7h Qs, both check, i make it 3xbb again, sb folds, the bb goes all-in here instantly, i'm like WTF, he has more than my stack, and it's such a weird move, only thing i can think is maybe he has just limped with 44/77. But i figured, why would he play it like that?? And plus i had the flush draw, so after thinking i call. He turns Qc8h, and hits an 8 on the river, with no heart coming to the rescue. Awesome :/

Another is a set on set, which i couldn't get away from, again. And just general suckouts and all sorts going on. I have made the decision to never play below 50c/1 from now on, because i think i'll have a heart attack before my next birthday from stress that these fishys cause me lol.

Well friday night me n fishy (ed) lol decided to goto da pub for some pool and to get drunked realy lol. Was good laugh actually, we did a bit of side betting on the pool lol..didn't goto plan for me as the more drunk i got, the worse i got. The next thing i remember is waking up not knowing where the fuck i was or how i got there, this doesnt often happen to me, even if i'm wasteddddd. I soon realised i was at eds lol and his bro picked us up in the early hours.

Saturday night we went to chester, as it was moz's b'day in the week, so we went down to get trashed. Me n Blue couldnt get a lift up, so we had to train it..grrrr
But we amused ourself's on the train, coz ed come up with a drinking game/wordsearch that he bought lol. Whoever gets the least amount of words in 2 mins, gets an extra shot of vodka in there drink. Luckily i won =)
When we goto moz's, we vandalised his house for a bit before heading out to da pubsssss. Started to get bit tipsy, we then headed for the club, waited for like 45 mins to fkin get in << in which time i pretty much lost all tipsyness lool. So i bust the $300 or so roll i managed to build from $40 because i kept re buying whilst on tilt, but, i think i have found the prob as to why i bust every time, i thinks it because when i sit at a table, i try get into into the game to fast, whereas i should sit back and evaluate the players and the play in general. When i bust one buy-in, i'm not thinking, why did i bust? what did i do wrong? I just insta re buy to try and recoup the losses. This is my problem, when i start to play bad/bust a buy in, i keep doing so, where i should sit back, maybe take a break. I'm gonna try an enforce these rules the best i can from now on. I deposited $50 yesterday, and its now at $127, i played 50c/$1. This may seem high for that deposit, but I'm careful on the table, and i also feel that i can play alot better than these players, i will only drop to 25c/50c maybe if i take a bad beat, but fuck 10c/25c lol, I'm fed up of that fishy play. You just can't push them off any shitty thing.

I'm also gonna try and make the blog more interesting, as lets face it, its pretty shitty atm, any advice is welcomed =)

EDIT: Dropped down to $113, so i withdrew $63, and left $50, i managed to spin that $50 upto $140 by some good play on 50c/$1. I withdrew $100 (as i need it lool) and left $40 in there. I'll see what i can do with this now over the next few days or so. gl

^^^ I got that $40 upto $67 before busting it after my set on the flop was lower than his. How Sick is set on set lool..not to worry though, still in proff!

Well my roll yesterday evening was $20, and that was put all on a 9 seater SnG in which i hoped to cash in, i was rolling well in it, then i had to leave Bluescouse's house, to travel back to camp, i asked him if he wanted to carry on for me, he managed 2nd for a sweet $54 (cheers mate).

I got back to camp, last night and had a sesh with the $54 all going on the line, and had another sesh tonight, both times on 50c/$1, the roll now stands at $305. Both lasting about 2.5 hrs each, very good play by me i believe, best i've probobly played on such a table, i think im used to the play there now, and will play more often. Making good reads atm, pretty chuffed, going to carry on trying to grind up the roll, with no more crazy play, like i did on sunday morning to almost bust the roll.

As you can see, the roll has taken a very nice upswing. I decided last night that it was increasing at too slow a pace, so i sat at a 50c/$1 table, with $60. Last nights attempt didnt go well, ending $10 down. Tonights however went awesome, i make a sweet $100, and my roll was upto over $300 at one point, however took a slight knock when i missed my flush draw. No worries though as im still well up. Good times, Will find the hands and post soon hopefully.

I placed a bet on Calzaghe this weekend, £50 on betfair, obviously he won, i got a small proff of £38 or summit, which i was pleased about. Made the night a whole lot better, wudda been on a downer if i lost lol. Been on the tables also briefly, sat at the usual 10c/25c table with $15, and soon got upto $40+ again, before cashing out. The roll is flying along, and im feeling awesome about my game. Lets hope this long awaited sucess continues =)

Happy to say though Bluescouse (ed) managed to not get arreseted this weekend (applause) lol...good going to him, although i did drop him flat on his face whilst pissed, and trying to give him a running piggy back, that was hilarious, as i saw him overtaking me in mid air, haha, his face was a picture. Tbh though, i think i come off worse, as i managed to headbutt a f00kin car bumper on the way down, haha, good times.

Had a few sessions this week, playing awesome, my bankroll is starting to look up. I seem to be doubling/tripling up my buy in everytime i play. Loving my game at the moment, can't seem to lose, loving it. I have been playing 10c/25c cash tabs and usually buy in for $15, and not often leave with less than $40 odd.

My new objective, is to nail the $200 mark buy end of play next friday. If i manage that, i'll be over the moon, as it will confirm me playing good again, i'll try post a few hands up during the week to evaluate my play further, *all comments welcome*.

On the work front, all is well, been quite busy but i enjoy that as the week flys buy then. I went out on the lash last night, as one of the guys is leaving the army, so me and a few lads said we'd come along for a few pints also. As always, a few turned into quite a few, and it ended up us being absolutely minging, in a night club, on a thursday night, with not a care in the world that theres work the next day loool. We were meant to be up at work for 8am, even though we did not arrive back at camp (sumhow) until 4am. Safely to say we awoke at 9am. Luckily, most of the bosses were also wasted and turned in late aswell, what a night though, some of the things we did, i not dare say, however, all good fun!

Desposited $20 into stars before, now have $77. Played a few tables of 10c/25c an played v well, making some v good calls/folds. Pretty happy with that. Biggest hand was when i was dealt KK in late position, one raiser before me, i re-raised him, he called.

Gone bust in stars for being a dick again, also lost another £30 live tonight in a small cash game playing like an idiot, shittest poker i've ever played tonight, about to enter a tourney, if i don't cash, i dont know where im going, money is very low, bills yet to come, and i am in a right state.

Lowest point for me atm, doesn't sound much, but im starting to worry...even though i should of started too a long time ago...

To make things worse, work is getting me very down, because i'm being put on dutys left right and centre, costing me money to get back to work, money which i don't have. This next week could be an interesting one, anyone says the wrong thing, i'll just kick off.

Where to begin lol, well i know, Bluescouse was busted and spent the night in a cell which i found hilarious, yet he still fails to find the funny side...hmmm loool. Drunk and disorderly Blue failed to make it to the clubs im afraid to say, and had to pay a nice £50 fine =)
He also spent the most of today stinking of puke lol, until we made him buy some new clothes for the journey home haha. He will never here the end of this.

Me and Moz were almost busted later on, at like 5am for stealing cones, and road signs, when a police car pulled alongside some very knackered and drunked us running down the main road like tits.

The night all in all was very good fun, i got extremely drunk and made an absoloute idiot of myself on the dance floor, but who cares, because i didn't. Tried out plenty of cocktails n stuff, main one we did was something called The Gas Chamber, which is basically where the bar-tender lights one glass of this drink, and puts it on top of the other glass, thus creating smoke inside the two, which you have to inhale through a straw quickly followed by necking the drink. Was kinda hard to keep down lol..and soon found its was into the toilet, but hey, it was worth it.

We also visited this Strip-Club/Casino where you could use your chips to only buy Drinks and Dances, i didn't spend long here, before going to the main club. I'd been here before and it was a right laugh.

I'd cant realy remember much else, as the head is still a bit misty, but i'll re-post at a later date saying what else happened lol..

Nothing to add on the poker side, and probs won't play for a few days.

I've actually made about $65 in about 2 hours of play on 5/10c, which i believe is quite good going, i've been playing real well recently, and am starting to think my poker as a whole has taking a turn for the better, and that i'm making some very good moves. I've been multi-tabling alot more which i also find better than the usual one tab.

I've not realy played at all this week, as have been busy in work, fixing the tankys =) and am just too knackered when i get back to the room. Going out in chester tommorow, with the fishys like Bluescouse, Moz n such, lol, should be a good laugh and i'm realy looking forward to it. I most prob won't be in the Bloggerment "again" this week as i will be travelling back up to camp in Catterick which kinda sucks, but oh well.

I'm hoping to have a bit more free time this week to play, and maybe make some profit, but we shall see.

Casino...

Well, as planned, Me, Bluescouse, Moz and Hellboy went to the casino last night to play in a £5 Rebuy tourney with 158 entrants. It started off very aggresive as predicted, and i found myself all in preflop with my first hand lool..I had A10d in last position with one guy all in before me, he turned KJo, and ace high won it =)

2 hands later i doubled up again with ace high when i had AQ. This sucess was shortlived, when i found myself all in pre flop again, but this time with 3 others. I had QQ, one guy turned JJ, another KK and the final guy 88. Flop Q76, turn 5, river 4 loool...88 takes it down.

All in all i re-bought 3 times and added on once. After the rebuy period i had no chips, so i was starting from minimum (2k)
Moz went out early after the rebuy, which was a shame, however i was told a few sick hands in which he lost, and made the right play with.

After a while i found Hellboy and Bluescouse had gone out aswell (in that order) so it was down to me. By now i was sitting comfortably with about 13k in chips from a huge pot in which 4 were involved, an my ace high flush taking it down.

Eventually, i made it to he final table, although wih probobly with one of the shorter stacks on there. The final table was kind to me (for once) giving me a few lucky hands, in which i real should have gone out too. First one i remember was when i had JdJc in about mid position, i pushed with less than average chips, and had one caller. He turns AQ, flop AcQcX, Turn is a club (making any club good for me and any jack) River is a Jack! Booyaaa lol...

Next sick hand, i was still relatively shortstacked and needed to double up again, I pushed in rather later position with K9d, got one instant call, he turns KK, and i thougt this is were is ends, until i hit trip 9's lool...sick.

By this time i had plenty of chips and could start to bully, which i did in some cases. I was calling any desperate all ins with medioca hands as i could afford it and wanted them out. Most of the time i got lucky and knocked them out, giving me more chips for bullying lol.

It ended me and this other guy heads up, with me a considerably chip lead. I was very aggresive in heads up (maybe too aggresive) but i was stealing the blinds all the time. I made a very bad call when i was drawing to any club or queen on the river, however i was pot commited and couldnt get away from i realy. This basically knocked me right down. I made one double up however he soon got lucky, when i was Dealt JJ, i pushed (as i was doing nearly everyhand) he called with k7 :/ and spiked a king on the river lol...however 2nd was a good result, gaining me a £600 prize, although we agreed before it started that if we cashed, we would give 10% to each other then the winner gets 70%. So i took £420, with each of the lads taking £60, and a small proff. Good times lol.

Just like to thank Bluescouse, Moz and Hellboy for there support, there were my fan club cheering me all the way lol..cheers lads ;)

Bad all week, until tonight...

I have played a bit since last post, and to cut a long story short, i've been playing pathectically, depositing $20 here and there, then busting it all away. It's made me real depressed therefore making my play even WORSE!! I've been thinking for long periods, looking back on bad calls/raises at the worse times, and started to think i'm a playing like a fish, and am no better than the average joe.

Tonight, i deposited $40, and decided to try play the $11 rebuy - $45K GTD on pokerstars, i was running ok, although i did rebuy 3 times altogether, i was running ok, until i hit a sick hand. I recieved KK on the button, there was one raiser before me and i re-raised him x3, everyone else folded, he called, flop came Jxx, he bets 3xBB, i re-raise him 3x, he pushed, and i thought for about 20 secs, then called ( I was 95% sure he had AJ) - sure enough he did, turn came J, river x....and that was me, coudln't rebuy. So i decided some to play cash, and i went into the game thinking i was gonna bust it, because over the last 3 weeks, i've been playing so so bad online its unbelievable, so on tilt...i built my £9 into $50, before losing abit to $35. Everyone left that table so i joined 2 tables, one with $25 in one, and $10 in the other, (both 10c/25c tables)

I left one with $40, and the other with $30, making a nice little profit for the night (the first time in a while)

Tonight made my self confidence in my game came right back, and i feel good again about my play. Im making good folds, and some very good calls/reads. Im going casino on friday with Bluescouse and Hellboy, as our last trip there was cancelled =) but i feel good about it and am hoping to make some profit with my newly found confidence. I shall next post probs after fri to give a run down on how it went =)

Although ive been posting about my internet wins/losses, ive played quite abit of live poker recently also, in which ive played 10 times better.

First game was in rileys, 9 peeps on table, £10 buy in, first prize £60, second £30, i played very well throughout this game, the skill level was good, although not great, i managed to knock a large majority of the table out through a few good reads. It was a good spirited table and very enjoyable to play at.

It ended up me and this other guy heads up, and i was chip lead by a very long way, he was pushing with any good hands, and i didnt want to double him up, although him stealing the blinds was counting for alot also, he pushed when i was dealt 102h and i called him , he turned over A6, and i hit the flush...nice little profit.

Next game..
Played vs Bluescouse, moz, portdeco, jake and TJ (blue's brother)
It was a £5 rebuy and 1st was £60, 2nd £30. I think i played quite well, even though i will admit i hit a few lucky hands, but thats poker =) Cant realy remember too many hands, but the one i remember mainly is vs moz, we both were in the flop when it came j6x, i held j6, moz held j10, and thats where he went out =) soz mate lol..
Another was vs Bluescouse where he went all in pre flop with the short stack , it folded to me, and wasnt too much to call so i did with K2h, Blue turned over K4d, there were no 4's coming out as the other 3 were in folded hands lol, and i lucked a 2 =)

And the final hand is when i was heads up vs jake with me having chip lead, i hold Ah10s, jake j4, flop comes 10h jh kc, i raise, then get re-raised, i call, the turn is 6h, i check, jakes moves all in, after thinking for a long time, i thought i had to call, i have quite a few outs, any 10, any ace, any heart or queen, i call, and the river is the 3 of hearts (which portdeco called lol)...and i win £60..all good =)

Final small game tonight vs Murph heads-up, i gained chip lead quite early, but then hitting a big knock shortly after. I must admit, i was getting some good hands and hitting often. The final hand was wen i recieved k5. Murph raised 2x BB pre. Flop was 459, i raise then get re-raised all in by murph, I put him on something like AQ/AK, and say to him this, i thought for ages and ages about this, and then called as it was not alot more for me to do so, he turns over AQ (what a call lol), turn A, dear god :S and then i lucked a K on the river, £10 profit =)

So although ive bin losing online recently, live poker has done me good and i think ill be playing it alot more in future. Thats all for now =)

Well as per usual, ive gone to high up the stakes too fast, where i lost the entire bankroll, when the flop came AQK, i held KQ, he had AQ, he never raised pre so didnt put him on anything like that, i though maybe ace-low, but how i was wrong.

However not to worry, get paid soon, and im also going to the casino next friday with Bluescouse n some other mates which should be a good laugh, and hopefully profitable :)

I played a freeroll tonight in which i finished 132nd out of 1345, always finishing similar position at the moment, but hopefully my luck will change soon, going to start again next weekend depositing maybe $50, and working off that, and im going to stick to rules this time, no going above my stakes, and never going in a table with the whole bank roll...

I will post soon on sum hopefully good results in some freerolls :)

WOW..my bankroll has seen nothing like it just did..

i decided to start this evening like normal, buying in at a 10c/25c table for $10, and building off that, i busted once, twice, 3 times and so on, dont know why, but i was playing shit and kept re-buying in, when i shudda cut my losses and just left, i think it was because i just woke up but excuses aside..

I eventually went from $117 to like $40, so i thought fuck it, im going into a 50c/$1 table, i was still playing shit and went down to $12, at this point i thought im fucked basically, but i stuck at it...

I cashed out the table at $153 ;)

Since my last post, i aint realy played online at all, i been abit busy, i went to turkey for a week which was fun, and now im back at work, and today, ive finally managed to sort out my internet anywhere thing, so i can resume playing poker...

I have decided to play micro limits for a while, mainly to cut my losses, but also just to practice a few things ive been reading about. Seeing as i havent been playing, ive just mainly read about poker in Dan harringtons book, this gave me time to also take a break from the game and start fresh.

I intend to enforce better BRM from now on, so that i dont bust my whole roll in one game, im even thinking about taking on Chris Fergusons 10k challenge, which would be a very good way to practice my game, and also would make my blog alot more interesting i think.

Ive only had one game today, i bought in a 1c/2c table for $3 and left with $9.60. It was v easy imo, i cud easily see when i was against strong hands, as they'd usually bet out alot more lol...but i must admit, i was also getting the hands to bust these guys. I did bust about 4 people, but obviously they had little anyway.

Not much else to report, i'll be playing the bloggerment for the first time in like a month tommorow, and will be going into it with a very positive attitude. I'll keep you posted of my winnings/losses in the near future, till then, Chow!

Bin Playing a bit i spose, making a bit of profit here and there, have decided to try a new approach to my stars Bankroll, going to grizz it out and make a small profit day by day, then when i reach say $1000, il up the stakes on cash tables and then grizz it out on them, slowly making profit, however this way, i cant lose a large amount of my BR, which wud probobly make me go on tilt anyway, then busting it all.

I've managed to bring my bankroll up further (as u can see) from $215 - $330, within 3 days, which is not a bad increase, keeping at this pace for a few months would be a great achivement for me and wud change alot of things, i'll post a few hands up ive played soon, till then, wish me luck :D

Flopped Straight Flush..

Was having a quick game in a 50c/$1 table, went in with $60, made up to about $67 when i get A4h UTG, i call the raise, flop comes 235h, i had to check it a couple times to make sure, and to a pleasant suprise, i flopped the straight flush, i was just starting to think how i was going to play this, when the others decided for me, turns out one had an open ended straight draw and was betting big, i acted weak, and took a while to only call these bets, which only made him more agressive, he bet $15 on the turn, i simply called again, the river come, and he pushed all in, and i obvioulsy called instantly, to his dismay im sure.

Hit the cash tables recently, despite me saying i wouldn't, but it has brought me a small sucess, bought in for $40 on a $1/2 table, soon got up to over $100 with a few good hands, then fell abit, but stayed well above my buy in.

Have been playing normally 25c/50c cash tables within the last few days, this has prooved alot more profitable for me as i find the players alot less skilled and i can easily often double up my buy in. Still decided to not touch my betfair account, and realy want to work on my Stars one and i realy like the games here. Plus i want some merchandise using my fpp's LoL!

however i shall keep u updated if i get any big big wins/losses in the near future..

Joined a $4 buy in sng last night, with 180 entrants, the prizes wernt amazing, but i fancied a go. I got up the chips fast soon becoming close to chip leader of tourney, and certainly chip leader of my table, i managed to keep my stack high through most of the tourny, picking off fish, and people who were trying to bluff me when i had the nuts (dont you just love that).

A few hands i remember,

I had about 20k in chips, a short stacked player pushed pre-flop, and everyone else folded, and i decided to call, they turned over 99, to my amazement, and i had 1010, the flop came 9x9, which was such a shock. The very nexy hand after that, somebody pushed pre-flop again, with about $5k in there stack, once again, everyone around the table folded, so i called with 1010 (again). They turned over AKo, and hit an ace on the flop, no help for me, this made a big dent in my stack, but i decided to not let it phase me. I pushed on and kept managing to gain more and more chips, there was a point in the tourny where i went down from like 12k, to 1k, but soon making it back upto 18k, when i flopped the nut straight, and a few people pushed all-in with me insta calling...

I eventually made the money in a very good situation, it payed down to 18th place, and i was in the top 3 of the chip lead most the way of the final 18. The final table came, and i hit a very bad beat, i re-raised somebody pre-flop, and they insta re-raised me, i was thinking about coming over the top, but he had more chips than me, and i didnt want to rest my tourny life on this hand as its not prooved the best for me in the past, i decided to call. Flop came J64, not a great flop for me, but i decided to go on betting strong, trying to represent that i'd hit or had and overpair. I raised $3000, ( a very large amount of my stack after the pre-flop raising ) he instantly came over the top. It took so much courage to fold this as i was probobly pot commited by now, but i decided to let it go, he showed AJ, and i was so relieved to have folded, no matter how hard. However this left me short stacked on the final table, and i've never had so many sh*t hands in a row than when i was on this table lol. Hand after hand they were re-raising, and everytime i'd call, i'd never hit, never even had a high card to try and bluff with. I eventually decided to push with Qc7d, one person called with KQ, i was devastated, however the cards came KcAc3h the turn, Jc --- giving me the Royal flush draw, river 10d, not giving me the royal, but it kept me in the tournemant, and we both hit straights. This was a relief.

Finally i was not going anywhere with my hands, and i was well beyond having a short stack by now, i pushed with J7d, 1 called with KQd, and he had the higher flush even though i hit two pair, i finished in 6th position which wasn't a realy bad result, could've done better but we all have bad games. This won me $36 adding to my stars account.

Betfair - $950 (not touched it yet)

Oh and before i go, i gotta say congrats to Portdeco for winning $3000 after a 9 hour session fighting off 2500+ entrants, managing to get 2nd place, and a hefty profit, seeing as it was only a $3 buy in, exellent result mate, keep up the good work =)

well had a few games, so thought it was about time i updated..

First off, tonight, played in a $2.50 tourney in which 3000 peeps entered, not gonna go into detail, as that would take forever, lol, but i came 84th, winning me about $14, was gd fun, and shudda dun better, but lost a large amount of my stack to a silly call, and went on tilt thereafter..

Had a live game, with Bluescouse, Portdeco, hellboy and moz, didnt do that well, but the highlight of the game, was wen i came back from having just one 25 chip, (enough for ante), and coming back to have about 8500 chips, about equal chip lead, however it was shortlived when i ran into portdecos QQ, with K 10, not to worry though it was fun.

Been playing a bit on pokerstars, put just $20 in, and afta a day i managed to make it upto around $90, and just to mention thanks to ed (Bluescouse) who has been giving me a few pointers which have realy helped my play out..cheers mate =)

Been on tilt tonight a bit, and trying to recover what ive lost too much, making me lose more and more, eventually, i lost most my stars money, by stupid cash play, but il probs take a rest tomorrow so that i can get my head together, and play better maybe...

i still have a BR of $950 in betfair, although i might transfer it into stars, as ive only realy started to play on stars, and already prefer it, but il see how it goes

Well i aint posted in a while, mainly coz i forgot my login, but now i have remembered it, so thought it was time to make a post. Ive had a few ups and downs losing money here n there, but i have just finished a tournement in 1st position out of 34. It was a $1500 guaranteed tourney, in which the first prize was $600 (£300). Im over the moon i won it, mainly because it reassured that my different style of play ive been enforcing recently is working. The winning hand was AK vs his AQ, i pushed pre-flop as i had him well covered, and nothing came.

I also had a small live tourney, in which i came 2nd ( to ed ), but i believe i played very well. Heads up between me and ed lasted well over and hour in which im very proud.

Well last nite, i made around £25 profit on PKR. After a HU game against moz, which didnt go too well when i ran into his AA. I lost about $20 to moz in that game, i had only put $25 into my account so i hate $5 left to play around with, i decided to go into a 10c/25c table, and see what i could make of it, there were around 4 others on the table all with around $20 in there stack. I started off slow, but soon made it upto around $15, i held here for a while before winning a $10 pot, making me upto $25. I soon after hit a massive pot as a player (who was on tilt) rebought for another $25 and went all in after the flop wen i had the nuts, i cant say how annoyed he was at this but there was alot of cursing.. :D, this made me upto $50 and i made another couple $ but decided to call it a night (at this time it was 5am).

just a small update, but better than nothing :D

Had a game tonight, bought in on Betfair for $40/£20, went straight into a 50c/$1 table, and played way too aggressive straight away without getting to know the players on the table, it wasnt long before i was down about $10 or so, i had a few good wins, but they were shortlived. I eventually lost the majority of my money with a bad hand, i held A,3, and one other held QQ, i hit trips on the flop, i bet 80c, he called, turn came 7, i bet $1.50, he called, river came Q, i pushed for $5.00 he called, to my dissapointment.

I then left that table and went to a lower stakes 10c/20c. I played here for about an hour. I started the table with $4.54, and within about 3 mins, i was upto $11, as i hit a good few poket pairs which turned to trips, and collected a few small pots. I then made my way upto $27 by hitting a house against a few players who pushed all in pre-flop, they pushed all in, i held A, 10, i called there bets, the flop came A, 3, 10, turn 7, river A. Bit of a lucky one for me (for once). I then hit a few bad beats, eventually dropping to about $7, i felt i was not going to last much longer, till i hit a house again, making my way upto $15. I held at this sum for about 10 mins, uptill a big hand came, a guy raised pre-flop to about 80c, i called with A,10. The flop came, 10c,9c,10d, abviously i hit trips, he bet $4 which made me think he had a flush draw, i decided to call, turn came 2s, he bet another $4, i called, the river came 5c, he pushed all in with about $5.70, at this point i was 90% sure he hit his flush, and that i had a lesser hand, i decided that i've already bet too much to go back, i called whilst cringing, but he turn over KJ of diamonds? i was like wtf, he bluffed all that way haha, to a pleasant suprise, i then won a few small hand thereafter this making my way up to eventually $41, making me up $1 haha. I decided to call it a night and try again tommorow.

I think i did quite well tonight coming back from a small $4.54 to $41, but from now on i think ill just not play aggressive so quickly, try to get to know the players, and try to work on them from that angle.

Poker With Mates

Just had a game tonight, against a few mates, i only bought in for 20 quid, 2 others did the same, however one went in for 100 (ed hollis) and another for 50. It was a fun game, however ed and such are out of my league for now, so made no profit, none the less it was fun, i was up most of the game, just had bad luck when one pushed all in pre-flop, another called, and i had to call with my AK, one showed JJ, and the other showed A7s, the cards came with four spades, and no luck for me, and there went my buy in. I wasn't going to re-buy tonight, as have already spent this months poker allowance i set for myself twice over. But i soon hope to change this with experience.
